We have three types of ticket, plus it is possible to book extra nights of accommodation. All tickets available on Eventbrite. The tickets will be available at early bird prices until the end of June. We want to make iOSDevUK as affordable as possible, and a base price of £150 for three days makes it affordable for most developers. It also recognises that people who are able to commit early help greatly with our planning.
Conference Ticket. This includes 2.5 days of conference sessions plus 2 afternoons of technical seminars, plus snacks, lunches and the conference dinner.
£160 - early bird available until end of June
£260 - standard conference ticket price until end of August if tickets remaining
Conference Package including Accommodation. This is easily the most popular ticket. It includes everything that the conference ticket includes, plus three nights en-suite accommodation from Monday to Thursday. Accommodation this year will again be the more up-market accommodation that conference-goers delighted in last year, and still includes a cooked breakfast.
£320 - early bird available until end of June
£420 - available until 17th August if tickets remaining
iOSDevUK Team Ticket. Last year, ten companies brought their whole team to iOSDevUK, both for the learning, and as a team building exercise - there is nothing like sharing a flat to bring a team together. The team ticket includes four conference packages and you can give us the names of those attending nearer the date.
£1,200 - early bird available until end of June
£1,500 - available until 17th August if tickets remaining, and saving £180 over price of individual tickets
Train is often the easiest way to get to Aberystwyth, with a pretty two hour journey from Shrewsbury. The Monday train getting in at 15:20 is in time to attend the Monday afternoon tutorials, and the conference finishes on Thursday in time to catch the 13:30 train to London (staying for Thursday afternoon tutorials will mean catching the 3:30 or 5:30pm train). You can get on any train to London with an off-peak ticket, which makes trains to/from Aber quite reasonable.
Off-peak train tickets from London (any train after 9:30am from Euston) cost £83.40 return.
Off-peak from Birmingham International is £58.90.
For European visitors, or those changing planes in Amsterdam or Dubai, Birmingham International Airport is the easiest place to fly into, with a direct rail link to Aberystwyth. Manchester Airport is reasonable, but you will probably need to change trains twice. Train details and ticket purchase can be done here.
For USA visitors, you will probably need to travel via Heathrow. Train from London would be via London Euston, changing in Birmingham. Drive from Heathrow takes 4.5 hours and I wouldn't do it the same day I arrived in Heathrow on an overnight flight.
