Call for speakers open until the end 6th February 2026
We are the longest running iOS conference in the world, having started in September 2011.
We have 25 to 30 speakers each year and around 200 to 250 attendees. Some of the conference is in twin tracks, which means that we can have a wider range of talks than can be done in a single track conference, while still having things happening that should interest all attendees.
We welcome interesting talks on all aspects of iOS development from very technical Swift talks, through business-oriented talks, to UI/UX talks and social issues. We aim to be a community conference that anyone can afford to attend, with our cheapest conference ticket this year being £160 for three days of content.
Benefits for speakers
Speakers receiver free attendance at the conference, plus three nights of accommodation in Aberystwyth (Monday 7th September to Thursday 10th September 2026) We do not pay speakers’ travel costs.
We strongly encourage first time speakers, and over the years, there have been many people who are now regulars on the conference circuit who gave their first ever talk at iOSDevUK. We are happy to provide advice and feedback to new speakers if they feel it would help.
How to become a speaker at iOSDevUK
Fill in the proposal form by 6th February 2026. Not all of the details on the form are needed to make a decision, but when we decide on speakers, we will also want to publicise who is speaking, and will use the provided material for that purpose.
We will get in touch with people to tell them whether they are successful by the end of February. If you would like any advice on whether a possible talk is likely to be suitable, please look at the Talk Tips page, and/or contact Chris Price (chrisinaber@gmail.com).
